3 inexpensive ways to take your English to the next level.

1) Repeatition is the key

Whatever English you speak now has been repeated so many times. I bet You would agree with me here. The words have been repeated often. The sentence structure have been repeated often. The phrases have been repeated often.... Now new things are not coming your way and if they are coming, they are not being repeated enough number of times. Here is the problem. Here is the catch! Whenever you come across a new expression a new word which you would like to use yourself as well. Repeat it often consciously. Use it while speaking. Use it while writing.......

2) Seek the Company of Good Communicators

Seek the company of those people whose English is already at par. Converse with them more often. Listen to them. The words and expressions they are using, use them then and there....and even use words which you have learnt from somewhere else. Precautions; you shouldn't push those words. Don't use any words at least in formal settings unless you have understood it well.

3) Watch English Shows and Read English Books

Watch and read! but hang on hang on.....

Yes you have. But now listen to me how you are going to do that.

If you are reading a book or watching any movie...make sure you repeat it at least three times. Don't go to another book or another movie unless you have done so.

This way you will retain the heard or read vocabulary longer and likely to use them in your communication. As I mentioned in the beginning whatever language we speak has been repeated to us multiple times. Hence, it is required.

In the end, I would say it's just a language... enjoy it...the way you enjoy any other slang of your mother tongue or any language.
